Instructor/trainer, AnneMarie Murdock has been teaching and training sport horses and riders since 1980. She has competed through fourth level, and has schooled horses through the Gran Prix movements. She is passionate about systematic training of horses that strengthens and supples the horse for progressively more difficult requests by the rider, so that he remains healthy, sound, and happy in his work. "I believe that it is my responsibility to develop horses that are a pleasure to work with, and riders who understand the theory underlying what we do. Successful human-horse partnerships are my goal." In her earlier riding career, AnneMarie competed in hunter/jumpers and eventing. She taught pony club for over ten years with many students who won national recognition and some who became professionals in their own right. AnneMarie is available for dressage and jumping lessons, clinics, training, and for help selling and buying sport horses.
In 2016 AnneMarie finished her masters degree in counseling and psychology at St Martins University. Since then she has earned her LMFTA license, and opened a private practice in the office at Serenity Farm. "I am so grateful to be able to practice my two vocations under the same roof, and in the presence of my beautiful equine friends."
